Dandelions have always had a reputation for hearty portions. And it's still true! Hearty and rich. In the end we leave with a generalized feeling of heaviness. It's not bad but it could use a little more finesse.

Originally from Alsace, we have just been invited by our family for a birthday. This is a very nice discovery. We are quite demanding and quite critical. The meal was very good but more plentiful. The staff is dynamic, pleasant and professional. Only downside, a little noisy. We highly recommend. It's a very nice address

Very good and very plentiful. A little disappointed however by the dandelion salad which is nothing special. And it’s a shame there’s no longer a daily special at 1 p.m. A delicious veal head. You have to remember to leave a little room for desserts, like the really succulent strawberry Melba. The servers are very friendly.

I have just discovered this restaurant with a warm atmosphere with very friendly and welcoming servers, the cuisine is nothing to say, an example of what we call excellence, I enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert I highly recommend this establishment and I will definitely come back. Thanks again for the welcome.

Bon moment ce midi avec un copain… Le poisson est excellent et la présentation soignée.. Service très sympathique je ne comprends pas l’avis de Christophe du mois d’avril! Pour moi rien à redire c’est une bonne adresse

Très bon accueil, décor sympa , cuisine excellente, service très bien et avec un très bon rapport qualité prix, quand nous reviendrons à Nancy nous viendrons diner dans ce restaurant.

16/12/2024: Well located in the city center, this well-known restaurant in Nancy has lived up to its reputation and you must reserve for a Saturday evening. Unbeatable value for money at €30 for a starter-main course-dessert menu, with all the menu options being mastered and tasty. We had the foie gras and lamb spring rolls as a starter, the duck parmentier and the lamb shank as a main course, and finally the crème brûlée and chocolate fondant for dessert. The service is impeccable and friendly. The atmosphere is simple without fuss, but we go there with pleasure to (re)discover the menu and this Nancy institution. I highly recommend!

Le Coq En Fer

16/09/2024: The service was good, the server did what he could. Unfortunately for us our meat was tough and tough, 3 out of 5 people did not eat their dish... a disappointment. The roasted potatoes on the side were simply new.. The waiter offered to make us something else but it was late and he was running around everywhere, plus we had a baby. The kitchen didn't even apologize. A poor gesture was given to us regarding the note, a formula and a picon offered.. Too bad we won't come back again.
16/09/2024: Impeccable and very professional service. Unbeatable value for money, excellent menus for a very reasonable price. I will come back without hesitation!
