Les Présidents - Domaine de Divonne sur Divonne-Les-Bains

I’ve dined at Les Présidents several times and it has always been a very enjoyable experience, which is why last night’s visit was a bit disappointing. The starters were excellent, and my wife’s fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. Unfortunately, my beef tagliata was extremely poor—so tough and disappointing that it was simply inedible. I had to send it back and order the fish instead. What surprised me most was that the replacement dish was still charged on the bill. I had expected at least an apology or a gesture of goodwill, especially given that the original dish was not fit to eat. I hope this was just an isolated incident because the restaurant has always maintained a much higher standard. The quality of the service and the way this situation was handled did not match the excellent experiences I’ve had here in the past.
