What a disappointment. This brasserie seemed like a lovely place, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. It is very well located in the center of Pontoise. The welcome was quite pleasant and friendly. However, when ordering our food, several negative points arose: First, the waiter couldn't tell us which cheeses were in the cheese pasta. He didn't even bother to ask. This didn't suggest a homemade sauce. Second, we couldn't choose how we wanted the salmon cooked, and the only explanation we received was that it was cooked normally. No explanation was given about the cooking method. As for the chicken pasta, it was served with Emmental cheese, not even Parmesan. Furthermore, the pasta wasn't al dente and had far too much oil. I understand that some people might like it, but it wasn't to my taste. On the other hand, the chicken was generous. However, the portions were decent and the presentation was neat. A positive point was the flank steak, which was a real hit. Its quality and portion size were appreciated. As for the desserts, the crème brûlée really didn't look homemade. It was more like a commercially prepared custard and was excessively sweet. The French toast was served with lemon ice cream, which was very confusing, and the tiramisu was unappetizing and very basic. Regarding the bread served, it was a white baguette that seemed frozen and tasteless. This restaurant has potential, but it needs to improve the quality of its ingredients. However, it remains an affordable brasserie and could appeal to most people.

This is my fifth time back for lunch. The quality is consistently excellent – ​​the warm goat cheese salad was superb today and beautifully prepared. The set menu (main course and dessert) is €18.50 and was served quickly and with a smile. Highly recommended.

A warm welcome, attentive staff, impeccable service, and a friendly atmosphere that was a hit with all my guests. The food was delicious. We did karaoke and played games. Everything went smoothly.
