The place has completely transformed: a warm atmosphere, a truly medieval world revisited with elegance, and above all, an original and accessible tapas concept. You create your own feast freely, choosing from a variety of portions, which allows you to try everything. Continuous service from 10 am to 10 pm is rare and very much appreciated.
The kebabs are delicious, the seafood incredibly fresh (special mention for the oyster and shrimp platter), and the cheeses and charcuterie are well-chosen.
We especially loved the truffle toast and the Breton far with salted caramel.
You can feel a real commitment to quality, to modernizing while preserving the inn's spirit.
The service is welcoming and friendly, and you feel valued.
An address that deserves to be (re)discovered.

The rooms have a private entrance, which provides real comfort and a sense of privacy.
The decor is tasteful, elegant, and welcoming, with high-quality bedding. You sleep very peacefully.
Everything is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the new owners are committed to offering a professional and modern service while preserving the charm of the place.
The breakfast is generous, with excellent products, and the overall atmosphere of the inn makes you want to extend your stay. A wonderful place to stay in Moncontour, ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer break. We will definitely be back!
