Les Rives du Doubs sur Noirefontaine

We arrived at lunchtime and the restaurant was very busy. Even without a reservation, we were greeted warmly and professionally and allowed to choose our own table. We were seated at the edge of the terrace with a fantastic view of the Doubs River. Absolutely wonderful. We were served an aromatic amuse-bouche. The main course that followed was also incredibly delicious! We enjoyed it with a lovely rosé wine. Perfect. It was a delightful interlude with an unexpected culinary treat.

Great food, even with children!

This restaurant is situated in a magnificent setting on the banks of the Doubs River. We stumbled upon it by chance and were lucky enough to dine on its superb terrace. The dishes were delicious, and the menu price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. We will definitely return if we are ever back on that road again!

Lovely location by the river Doubs. The restaurant looks very nice and the staff are friendly. Be advised that you need reservations usually during high season which can only be made via Email. The food is good especially for fish and meat lovers and they offer some more posh options if that's your thing.

A beautiful spot on the banks of the Doubs river, calm and relaxing, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fireworks at 11:30 pm on July 14th... a thought for the neighbors who take more than an hour to fall asleep before and to fall back asleep afterwards, and who have to get up at 3:30 am to go to work on the 15th....

High-quality fried food, à la carte options, beautiful terrace overlooking the Doubs river, I really like this restaurant, the service and welcome are excellent.
