A good restaurant with a few details to improve. Very good dishes with dinner at the end of the winter season even if the endives were a little bitter but the fish was delicious. The wine is also very good. The only real negative point is the space in the room. To make the restaurant as profitable as possible, the tables are very close together and you have the impression of eating on your neighbor's lap and it is very hot in the upstairs room.

Suitable for those who are traveling to France for the first time, basically there are dishes such as snails, foie gras, confit, duck and red wine braised beef, so you can experience it in one stop. The restaurant is not big, but it has two floors. The waiters are very enthusiastic and speak good English, but they like to tell some bad jokes. The snails are a bit special. They are different from the shelled ones on ordinary silver plates. They are already the shelled version. But it doesn’t have the same pesto flavor as ordinary snails. It feels like Asian or Spanish food. The fried pork belly adds some meaty flavor to the snails. The pork belly itself tastes like Spanish tapas, and the chopped green onions are just spicy. It has a decorative effect and is not very obvious in taste. The foie gras worked as expected, with shredded sweet onions on the side to relieve greasiness. The confit duck leg is a little less dry than what I have eaten before, but the meat is also a little bit woody, but this may be the way the dish is made, so it is normal. The method of braised beef in red wine is different. It is paired with rice. The beef is very tender and you can feel it when you cut it with a knife. After a few bites, the taste of red wine will burst out.

It seemed like there were only locals and I could really taste the local cuisine. However, I thought it was a big problem because the menu was written in cursive French, but the staff on the second floor was so kind that I was able to choose without difficulty after listening to the explanation. Next time I visit Paris, I want to visit again.

Établissement proche de la perfection ! Nous ne pourrions imaginer qu'une cerise à ajouter au gâteau, un malbec blanc sur la carte des vins pour faire la pige au sauvignon.

03/04/2024: This place is a must-try for those who is looking for authentic French cuisine - we ordered the pan seared foie gras definitely a must-have dish. I had pan seared foie gras from Spain and another French restaurant the days before dining here, no comparison to this place - it was cooked perfectly. We also order the duck breast, Rib of veal, cassoulet, and foie gras salad - EVERYTHING was AWESOME - it should be mentioned that the restaurant manager Alexander was fun, attentive, and very friendly - the food quality and the service deserve a 5 star 🌟

Le Coupe Gorge

29/03/2024: It's really great. I really like the boss and the waiters. They are really sincere. They would translate the French that we couldn't understand into English for us. They would come back to ask you how your meal was and if you liked it. The boss also gave us two small snowflake cakes because we are Chinese. I really fell in love with TvT here. And the food is also very delicious. I tried the crispy duck, lamb leg and rice pudding. I highly recommend the crispy duck. The lamb leg was stewed very soft, but it would be nice to have the kind of lamb leg that can be bone-in and a little crispy. But no matter what, it is a very warm and serious restaurant (о´∀`о)
