Despite a crowded restaurant, the waitress was great: fast, friendly, patient... :-) Good value for money and well located. A nice surprise.

If you decide to go to this establishment, make sure there are no “tour groups” otherwise it will be impossible for you to communicate with your guests. It’s a VERY noisy restaurant when there are tourists and the noise level is UNBEARABLE. Otherwise, the dishes are good but lack a touch of finesse.

Nice restaurant with fine French food at moderate prices right on Place Republique. Highly recommended! Good wines rounded things off and the friendly service staff ensured a successful evening. Simply great!

Very good restaurant, excellent tasting with the dish of prawns and scallops is excellent accompanied by the Poilly sauce. I highly recommend.

I go to this restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed. The dishes are very generous and very good. And the waitresses very nice as usual.

We were booked into this restaurant by our motorbike tour guide while in Chalons. The menu is only in French so Google came into play. The choices were varied and easy to find something to suit. All meals excellent and would recommend a visit. For those who complain about the food - you’re in France, live a little and move away from egg and chips - it won’t kill you!

Beau petit établissement dans le centre de Châlons-en-Champagne. Formule/menu du midi proposant d'excellentes entrées et plats selectionnables dans un choix proposé. Très bon vin proposé au verre ou en pichet. Qualité des produits irréprochable. Assiette copieuse. Prix plus que raisonnable. Service irréprochable. A conseiller !

11/01/2025: Very well located hotel with very nice and professional staff. The food in the restaurant is highly recommended.
31/12/2024: Conveniently located for an overnight stay if you are driving from Calais to the Alps. Much better than staying in an Ibis or similar. Staff were all very helpful and dinner in the bistro was fabulous and very reasonably priced; and the best French breakfast I have had for a long time
