Les Sarments sur Gassin

04/10/2024: Because of the many good reviews and the beautiful location, we went to this restaurant with friends for a special evening We were taken to the terrace for the aperitif, where we then had to place our entire order. When we arrived at the table, it was pretty plain, without a tablecloth, and all the drinks were already on the table. After that, the food came in quick succession. This was very good, but the price was rather steep. A 3 course menu for over €60. For the main course either fish or chicken legs. Alternatively, you could choose a main course from the menu. This would have cost an extra €20!!! No greeting from the kitchen etc. And the service was mechanical and the friendliness was rather artificial. Maybe due to the end of the season Too bad. We were hoping to find a new favorite restaurant.

16/09/2024: A big thank you to La Verdoyante for the warm welcome during our visit! The view there is simply breathtaking, and we highly recommend that you go and admire it for yourself: it is unforgettable. In terms of cuisine, La Verdoyante stands out for its refined dishes, highlighting Provençal specialties. The ingredients, fresh and local, are prepared with care and passion that is felt in every bite.
