Les Sarments sur La Turballe

Second visit this year. Loved it!

Excellent place: extremely friendly welcome, delicious food 😋 fresh produce… I highly recommend it

No hesitation, everything at Les Sarments is delicious. The menu is a delight! Everything is excellent! I started with a seafood platter, which was already quite generous, made with very fresh ingredients and just the right amount of lemon, homemade mayonnaise, and salted bread and butter. I followed with sea bream, cooked over a wood fire: it was perfectly cooked, not dry at all, and served with a carrot and turmeric purée, which was also delicious! I then had the chocolate mousse, which is often a source of disappointment in restaurants. Not at Les Sarments! The chocolate mousse is homemade and comes with "chocolate fondant shards": a delight! If everything on the plate is good, it doesn't stop there: the service is top-notch! The waitresses are lovely to all the customers (and there are many) while also being incredibly efficient! For all this praise, the bill remains very reasonable.

High-quality products. The small potato gratin with Curé Nantais cheese that accompanies the beef skewer is excellent, as is the beurre blanc sauce that accompanies the sea bass. Great atmosphere, fantastic folk music concert!

Excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed the grilled sardines and beef skewers. The dessert was simply delicious. The service and kitchen were top-notch, and the atmosphere was lovely and family-friendly. We'll be back.

A chance lunch break turned into a pleasant surprise. The service, the setting, the food—we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (pizza and sea bass, oysters, stuffed mussels). The welcome was warm and friendly, and they offered helpful advice on local attractions. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is a little off the beaten path. Bonus: they occasionally host concerts. Don't hesitate! 😉🤘

We had a wonderful lunch here in a warm and pleasant atmosphere (the fan/mister was fantastic!). The meal itself was superb! The stuffed mussels and the andouillette sausage were delicious! Thank you again!

It's a shame about the lack of coordination among the 4 servers, their inattentiveness to the public they serve, and Sophie's unpleasant attitude, who is clearly misstepping in her role as manager...the dishes deserve to be reworked, for example, the cooking time....
