Les Saveurs Gourmandes sur Menerbes

This is a very small, fine-dining establishment. Very elegant food in an intimate space of 2 cave-like rooms typical of the village and the Luberon. The food is original, yet based on classic Provencal dishes and flavours. Superbly prepared and presented and almost always distinctly flavoured, esp the amuses bouches. Always a choice of meats and seafood. A very fine, if small, wine selection of beautiful Luberon and Rhone Valley wines. The service is almost entirely provided by one of the owners, a charming and helpful woman (who also speaks English well). The chef comes around at the end of the evening to greet his guests. Very personable, and very much of its place: a Ménerbes village gem, which frankly, is rather less known than it should be, but that's also a blessing. Down a small side street, and all seating is indoors (but air-conditioned) and cosy! Very highly recommended.

Refined cuisine, warm atmosphere, perfect welcome from both the chef and his wife, we will return very quickly in the spring. Not to be missed if you are in the area

The service was so friendly and inviting that we really wanted to like the food! Unfortunately, the night we went it wasn't very good. Sorry to say that the starters and desserts were average, and the mains were not enjoyable as the meat was quite tough.

Wonderful dining experience in this small restaurant in the beautiful town of Menerbes. It was our last night in the beautiful Luberon and the meal was perfect! Boar stew, a fantastic pork dish, snail casserole and beet appetizer. Superb dining in an intimate cave setting!

Acogedor restaurante agradable en el precioso pueblo de Menerbes. Ambiente agradable, mesa cómoda, menú limitado. Cree que es dirigido por el chef marido y su esposa. Disfrutamos del vino, el bouche divertido y el delicioso aperitivo de raíz de remolacha. Todo se presentó bien, pero los platos principales de caña de cerdo y el guiso de jabalí decepcionaron debido a la carne sobrecocida. El gusto estaba allí, pero la textura no.

Este es un pequeño restaurante francés más tradicional, dirigido por una pareja: Christian en la cocina, Anne en la parte delantera de la casa. El encantador espacio de piedra - amurallado, con aire acondicionado está fuera de una pequeña calle en Menerbes. Nos pareció que la comida era muy buena. Destacaron el delicado y delicioso carpaccio de vieiras y un lubina sabroso pero ligero. La Bouillibaisse también era buena, con un sabor delicado, menos abundante que algunas preparaciones de ese plato. Probamos dos postres que eran sabrosos pero no excepcionales. El servicio de Anne fue excepcional - - cortés y bien - ritmo. Teníamos un vino blanco bien-precio y delicioso de la lista limitada. Hay dos habitaciones pequeñas; la habitación trasera es más como una cueva, muy encantadora pero tal vez apretada. El restaurante no estaba lleno la noche que estuvimos allí, y no tienen terraza, tal vez un inconveniente durante un verano provenzal encantador. Pero sin duda lo recomendaría. Aceptan solicitudes de reserva en línea. El menú estaba en francés e inglés.
