Small little thing on a side street in Menerbes, lovely village. This restaurant was very idyllic cavy place with a wonderful couple cooking and serving excellent food. Bouillabaisse had st Pierre and rouget and all other tasty fish so beautifully prepared. The dorade tartare was a surprise and a wonderful surprise!! Baba o rhum has been eaten up but the crème bullet was ok with apricot.. saint pons red was unique, like the whole place!!!!

An absolutely delightful meal enjoyed at this lovely restaurant. We were made to feel welcome from the first moment to the last and food was delicious.

June 2026: I’m updating our review… this used to be one of our very favorite restaurants in the Luberon. But we just made our annual visit here and were very disappointed. First of all, after 5 visits over 7 years, you’d think we’d atleast get a warm welcome. But every year it’s as if they’d never laid eyes on us. Whereas every other restaurant we return to always greets us with a warm welcome. I could forgive all that, but the food is not even in the same category of what it used to be. The prices have gone way up too, with no fixed menu -It’s all à la carte and a disappointing dinner -at any price. The pork was dry and with little taste, the gazpacho was basic and bland and looked like something a first time chef came up with. The dessert was obviously not homemade and lacked any originality. Then the bill… we paid 150 euros for 2 people and we had only one glass of wine. Of our two week visit, this was definitely one of the priciest - and with very little value. So sad! We definitely won’t be coming back. June 2023: One of our favorite restaurants in Provence. Amazing, creative, beautiful food. The restaurant is in an ancient “cave” in the lovely town of Menerbes. So charming. It’s run entirely by a couple; he cooks ad she serves. Very impressive!

Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was quiet and impeccable.

We had a fantastic time here for dinner. It is an elevated, yet warm and friendly experience that I can’t recommend enough. Fresh ingredients, tradition and creativity for our best dinner in the Luberon!

You shouldn't be too claustrophobic to sit at a table in the back of this vaulted restaurant! The setting is beautiful and well-executed, but you still get a feeling of being a bit enclosed. It's relatively cool, but there's no ventilation. As for the food, two dishes were removed from the six-course menu at the last minute. Replacing the lamb with pork tenderloin as a main course might seem acceptable on paper, but the tenderloin and its accompaniment lacked flavor, at least in my opinion. Overall: good... but "could do better," as they used to say in school!

Unfortunately, the meat dish was already sold out, but luckily the kitchen was able to conjure something up.

An excellent place. The food is delicious, the setting is calm and charming. We had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back.
