25/02/2026: Lunch on the terrace last Sunday.
I discovered the Sète-style macaronade, a daily special served every Sunday, and it was a real revelation. A generous dish, perfectly executed, with melt-in-your-mouth meat, flavorful sausage, and a rich, well-balanced sauce. You can sense real skill in the kitchen and a deep understanding of the ingredients. A hearty, delicious, and authentic plate. For this dish: 5 stars without hesitation.
My partner chose the grilled cuttlefish, served with parsley, aioli, and homemade ratatouille. The cuttlefish were cooked perfectly, tender, and well-seasoned. However, the ratatouille, while tasty, was too oily. As for the aioli, it clearly lacked character and freshness; the texture and taste were more reminiscent of a standardized preparation than a true aioli made with fresh garlic.
Regarding the service: friendly welcome but lacked efficiency. More than 20 minutes before we ordered, some dishes were already unavailable, and the water wait was a bit long. The waitress was smiling and pleasant, but still learning about pacing and anticipating orders.
Positive points: pleasant terrace, relaxed atmosphere, location away from traffic, which makes for a pleasant experience.
19/02/2026: A very pleasant experience in a lovely upstairs room, with impeccable service and a warm welcome. Good quality products. I highly recommend it.
