A warm welcome, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The dishes are simple and tasty. They were cooked exactly as ordered. The service was quick and efficient. Good value for money.

We had a fabulous family lunch, excellent service, and wonderful food. Very french, and beautiful atmosphere ~ would highly recommend. 🌟

We had seen the poor reviews and decided to give it a go — and were pleasantly surprised! Firstly, the service we received was friendly, informative and helpful. Our waitress (brown hair, glasses) was really lovely and the blonde lady helped us manoeuvre some tables to fit our party at late notice. The food was really delicious — we had a selection of dishes between us; the steaks were juicy and cooked to order, the prawns were huge (!) and delicious, and the fish and chips was filling and satisfying. We couldn’t resist dessert and each cake / tarte we tried was flavourful and the perfect end to a lovely lunch. Don’t let the poor reviews put you off; we have no idea how they got there, as we will definitely be returning!

05/12/2025: The food is not up to the standard one would expect from a three-star establishment, but the setting is exceptional.
30/11/2025: Here, the chef primarily works according to his inspiration and the seasonal produce. His generosity and love of cooking are palpable; he instinctively knows which ingredients will complement each other, creating daring and successful combinations. Truffle scrambled eggs, lobster ravioli with pike stuffing and truffle emulsion, Salers beef with truffle sauce, shaved lobster with truffle and extra-fine tuberous chervil, lime whipped cream foam with grated white cauliflower! I was constantly discovering new dishes. Here, there's no fuss or frills; the portions are typical of the Southwest, generous, and it's the flavor that matters, not the meticulous presentation. ^^ The setting near the Drone is particularly lovely, with the tower of Bourdeilles Castle overlooking the restaurant. As you can see, a unique and intimate address, just the way I like them!
