Disappointing, there are better options on Avenue de la Mer in Ouistreham in terms of value for money, the walls around the tables need cleaning and part of the carpet needs replacing before someone falls.

Unlike the restaurant next door, we received a very warm welcome, and the waitstaff were very attentive and helpful. We were served very quickly. As for the food, the starters and main courses were quite good.

02/09/2026: A restaurant set back a little from Place du Général de Gaulle, with a charming shaded terrace and beds of exotic plants. "Le Channel" has been recommended by the "Petit Futé" guide for several years. The menu is very varied: seafood, set menus, crêpes and galettes, traditional cuisine, à la carte options, and set menus at very reasonable prices. Everything is delicious. Here, you can take your time, far from the hustle and bustle of the ferry. The restaurant is family-run, managed by the father, mother, and daughter. The owner is happy to tell you the restaurant's history; he's a true enthusiast!
