We had a great time! We ordered poutine, which we enjoyed! The dessert was a major disappointment… We had the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee)… The petit fours really need improvement! Drinking coffee with applesauce and fromage blanc is definitely not ideal! As for the pastries, there was a measly piece of waffle, a piece of brownie the size of my thumb, and a small, rather dry chocolate roll! It's definitely not worth €7.90!

We were greeted at lunchtime—if you can call it that!—by a waitress (not exactly young) who called us over from a distance with a wave of her hand. Luckily we saw her, otherwise she might have whistled to get our attention.
The couple in front of us received the same "greeting." Thankfully, a different, more pleasant young waitress served us. The sauerkraut was excellent, and the baba for dessert was very good.

Always a pleasure to come here! The welcome is warm, the service impeccable, and you really feel at home. The quality of the food is excellent, the value for money is superb, and the craft beers brewed on-site are simply outstanding. A must-visit!

On our way south, we stayed overnight in Compiègne and popped in for a bite to eat. Fantastic, fast, and friendly service, delicious beers, and excellent Flamkuche. And all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
