Les Verdons sur Saint-Bon-Tarentaise

We didn't like it at all. The French fries were soggy and cooked in oil that was probably added at the beginning of the season. They add anchovy backs to the Caesar salad for flavor. The ketchup in liter-sized jars on the table was a complete nightmare. A magician for the kids saved the day. They had a blast.

Great restaurant with an incredible view and location. Reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in the area. Good food, thank you, see you soon! There was a bit of a wait due to the crowds. We loved Le Magicien

I received a very warm welcome. The food is excellent, the chef and his team are truly talented. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Top-notch service. Highly recommended.

The service was excessively slow; we waited over 40 minutes for two courses, which were nonetheless very good. There was also an issue with the water, which has already been mentioned in other reviews. When we asked for a carafe of water, the waiter told us the tap water wasn't good and caused stomach upset, and that we should order bottled water instead, even though French law requires restaurants to serve drinking water free of charge. Overall, a disappointing experience at a restaurant that pushes you to overspend, despite the food being very good.

Once the initial rush had passed, lunch was very pleasant, with proper table service, real food, and a divine blueberry tart to finish.

Great eating out in the mountains. Have to get cream / cheese sauce when in France! My carbonara met my pasta craving! When ordering steak or burgers medium in France is more similar to medium rare in North America

Good food, friendly staff, and most importantly warm drinks. Great spot for a rest stop - food is better than dine and dash canteen options and service was still quick.
