Okay. I ordered one dish and received a different one. I didn't say anything to avoid a fuss, but the price was a bit high for the portion size.

As for the food, everything is homemade, and you can taste it from the first bite: it was simply delicious, offering the chance to savor authentic specialties prepared and served with great generosity. A great place for a truly authentic Auvergne meal. Everything here is homemade. No frills, and while the initial welcome was a little cold, the quality of the food quickly won us over! It's a welcome change from restaurants that advertise "local produce" but ultimately only offer meats bought from Metro and canned truffade! Here you can enjoy genuine Auvergne dishes, cooked according to tradition. Having spent part of my childhood in the Cantal region, I was delighted to rediscover the flavors of yesteryear here, flavors that are gradually disappearing from regional menus. In this small, unpretentious restaurant, there are no concessions to current culinary trends... you won't find a hamburger here, not even one made with Auvergne beef! But you will find everything that makes up the soul of local gastronomy, with good ingredients, carefully prepared using traditional methods. I want to emphasize the "homemade" aspect, which, for once, isn't just a marketing ploy, but a genuine reality that your taste buds will confirm. I'd give a special mention to the stuffed cabbage, which was incredibly flavorful and juicy, and I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. In short, honest, uncompromising, simple yet effective cuisine! It's well worth the detour for those who want to discover authentic Auvergne cuisine. It's a pleasure to find a restaurant like this... I stopped by for lunch last Tuesday. A cocktail, Cantal cheese tart, truffade (a potato and cheese dish) with Salers beef, coffee, and Murat pastries for 30 euros. Very reasonable prices and entirely local cuisine! The owner is passionate about his region, and I think his son, who's also a pro, helps him out. I highly recommend it because I really loved the local produce! 😃😃
