A very nice discovery near Angers! An exceptional evening stopover ☺️!

Very nice establishment on the banks of the Loire. The view is superb! The rooms are comfortable and clean but there is no hairdryer in the bathroom. The bike reception is average with a cramped garden shed full of garden equipment that we had to put away ourselves... the €2.50 to recharge the bike battery is frankly petty and it's the only hotel who asked us this on the 8 of our Loire cycling route! The bistro restaurant is very good value for money. *** Added details following the owner's response: concerning the bicycle room. - We did not arrive early, there was no one at reception, we called twice 4:55 p.m. & 5:02 p.m. but the transfer to the person who was on the floors did not work and our reception was made around 5:20 p.m. Our bikes were put away afterwards. - We were able to bring our bikes into the room (on the left when entering and without blocking the exit of others) after taking out the garden hose, putting away the cleaner and garden tools. This is where you have arrived. There were 6 bikes in the room, no room for more. The following stayed outside. - There is indeed an electrical installation with 2 sockets for charging electric bikes. - Our opinion only wanted to highlight that improving your bike room could be a good idea.

nous avons séjourné deux jours entiers dans cet hôtel. La cuisine est au top. La qualité des produits, la préparation et la présentation, tout est parfait. Nous félicitons et nous remercions le Chef et son équipe. Note excellente aussi pour le service. Chaque repas était un moment formidable. Chapeau à tout le Personnel.

Vous voulez déjeuner rapidement sans pour autant vous offrir la table gastronomique, essayez la formule "bistrot". Vous aurez un menu 3 plats pour 22 € le midi. Vous ne serez pas déçus. C'est tout simple mais très correct pour le prix demandé. Sachez cependant que le choix n'est pas très important et que le prix des "extras": café, thé et eaux minérales et très élevé. Dommage !

The quality/price ratio is not up to par regarding the room (too simplistic...degraded curtain, 1 pillow, cramped bathroom and dirty side window outside), the welcome, the catering and the service are perfect. ..I will reiterate during my next visit...
