Excellent restaurant, a must-try if you're visiting Cap Ferret, the food is superb!

Hello, The food is decent, and the subdued atmosphere is very pleasant. The decor reflects the Bassin d'Arcachon spirit, which is perfectly understandable given our connection to the local area. That said, the menu is quite extensive. A wider selection of seasonal dishes could be something to explore further, as today's clientele is increasingly discerning about this. The restaurant is clean, a sign of distinguished professionalism; this shouldn't be neglected during the 2026 season. I would like to highlight the team from February 10th to the evening of 2026, who are fantastic, friendly, dynamic, and proactive. This is highly valued in any professional environment. The young employees are well-trained, although I did ask a question about a dessert that wasn't answered immediately, but I won't hold it against them. I've lived here for 25 years. The young people who work seasonally at this establishment are very well managed and know the menu. This shows confidence in them and helps them feel comfortable in their professional futures. This type of management is key, because customers who are valued are happy, loyal customers, and good word-of-mouth for friends, family, and others. Thank you, and please keep up the good work. Everything is really great, but: Despite my numerous suggestions, I don't understand why the menu still doesn't include poultry! Free-range chicken, guinea fowl with morels, or duck confit would be very welcome. Best of luck, and I look forward to seeing you again… and enjoying some poultry.

A bit of a wait, but once you know the place, you understand why. Exquisite cuisine: the salmon with peanut breadcrumbs and Thai rice was divine. Excellent service; the waiters were smiling and lovely. Once again, not disappointed.

The meal I had today was very good. The receptionist and the wait staff were very responsive. The food was very good.

In the off-season, it's the only café-restaurant open. And what a pleasure it is to be greeted with a smile and given a great table. I've never eaten there, but I've had their afternoon tea several times, overflowing with whipped cream and beautifully presented. The view of the bay, Arcachon, and the Dune du Pilat is exceptional.

Visiting during the Christmas holidays, we received a warm welcome in a packed restaurant. Despite the crowds, we were served quickly and efficiently. The prices are reasonable for Cap Ferret 😃. We'll definitely return when it's less busy to fully enjoy it.
