As a regular here, perfect for ending a sunny afternoon on the terrace, I'm disappointed, despite the staff's friendliness, by their lack of decorum... An ice cream sundae dangling in each hand to the waitress's swaying rhythm.
It's always better to stand up straight and have some poise. The small plates for resting the ice creams, meant for a more elegant presentation, are gone, as are the little napkins we had to go and ask for. A successful business must pay attention to so many details.

We had lunch there during the Christmas holidays. The restaurant was empty, but that didn't bother us at all; quite the opposite. We were very well looked after. Beautiful view of the lake, we ate well, and I absolutely loved the coconut ice cream—it was amazing! 🤤🤤🤤 I've never had any so good.

A restaurant that generally serves good quality food, even if the burgers looked a bit like frozen ones. The service was truly impeccable, and the view of Lake Vassivière was a real treat!
The imperfect egg was a real disappointment... Luckily, the rest of the meal was on a different level, like the dry-aged beef.
I still recommend it 😉

The restaurant overlooks Lake Vassivière. The view is exceptional. The restaurant is quiet, welcoming, and comfortable, with pleasant decor. The service is efficient and the welcome is warm. The menu isn't very extensive, but the ingredients are of good quality and the cooking is well executed. This place is perfect for lunch and dinner, whether for two, with family, or with friends. Afternoon tea is also great, with waffles and crepes. And for an aperitif, the selection of draft beers is respectable. We love going back for any occasion.

Came with a large group in October. I didn't pay attention to the timing, being in good company. The two menus offered were generous and very good. The very pleasant service did everything possible to serve all the people attracted by the good weather to this magnificent place.
