L'Escale in Honfleur is a great place to enjoy seafood and local specialties! For starters, fresh whelks. For the main course, tender and perfectly cooked scallops. :)

A big thank you to the staff!
The seafood platter was excellent, the Chorey-Les-Baumes wine paired beautifully with the shellfish, and a special thank you to Florian who really took great care of my little Forest.
I highly recommend it, but book in advance as it fills up quickly.

My husband and I went to this wonderful restaurant, it was our wedding anniversary, Louka made us feel at home, he served us, a young man with a lot of enthusiasm, we ate very well, a very peaceful atmosphere and wonderful dishes, I recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back...

A great find! It's a 1 hour 20 minute drive, but well worth it. The service was excellent, the menu had lots of choices, and the seafood platter was huge. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Originally, we wanted to eat at Les 4 Mats (run by the same person as L'Escale) because we have our favorite spot there when we come to Honfleur with my husband.
Since it was closed when we were there, the young woman on the phone suggested L'Escale.
And we weren't disappointed. The meal was excellent. My husband, who isn't usually a big fish fan, loved his sea bream fillet on mashed potatoes, and my duo of pink shrimp and langoustines was divine. The desserts were also delicious.
And what can I say about the waiter who took care of us? Smiling and, what's more, with a great sense of humor. If only everyone could be like that.
In short, we've found our second favorite restaurant.

A 30-minute wait between courses and wine by the glass resulted in a significant amount of tartar from the bottle settling at the bottom of my glass. However, my overall rating remains very good because the experienced and efficient waiter handled the situation well, and ultimately the dishes were excellent.
