L'escale Bleue sur Collioure

We had lunch at the blue stopover and had a very pleasant time. We followed the chef's recommendations, my wife had a fish fillet and I had the pork (puma I think) which was really very good. The fish was also good but the quantity was far too limited. Good deserts and a café crème + a long drink to finish. 90€ with a bottle of San Pellegrino.

Place away from crowds and tourists. Calm and relaxing all with local and delicious cuisine. At the sea, there is nothing like finding fresh fish on your plate. Excellent value for money

Quiet restaurant, away from the most touristic area of ​​Cotlliure. Very good attention from the housekeeper and the chef. Cuisine based on local products, such as fish.

You will not easily find this restaurant unless you are specifically looking for it as it is just off the main tourist area. We visited on a stormy night and it was very quiet. The ambiance and decor is that of the mediterranean shore and it is a relaxing place. It is run by a husband (chef) and wife who deliver amazing dishes worthy of a very high accolade. There is great attention to detail in the presentation and the foams and sauces do not mask the taste of the main components. I had scallop starter which had plenty of flavour and was beautifully cooked. It was followed by a large crevette perfectly grill roasted. The meal finished with spaghetti ice cream which was delicious and unusual. We had a bottle of wine and the bill for 2 came to €130. Not inexpensive but good value for the quality of food. Bravo.

Le chef et sa femme sont adorables. Les plats sont vraiment très bons, bien préparés, avec des produits frais et de qualité ! Je recommande vivement ce restaurant autant pour sa qualité que pour les personnes rencontrées le temps d'une soirée. Merci à ce beau duo pour cette belle découverte (et pour le schnaps 😉) !
