L'Escale du Roy offers excellent traditional cuisine showcasing local produce (asparagus). The portions are generous and well-prepared, making for a simple and authentic meal. We'll be back for the snails.

Excellent!!!! Refined, with good fresh produce... and a friendly welcome too

The parsley-seasoned razor clams were absolutely divine. The fragrant black cod tagine was succulent. The veal and fresh tagliatelle were delicious. Even the children weren't left out, with homemade breaded chicken and sautéed potatoes. Excellent value for money. Superb home cooking with fresh, local produce. A fun and cool couple of restaurateurs, whose kindness is sorely lacking in the world right now. Marine and Mathieu 😉

What a wonderful discovery! The owners are very friendly, the welcome warm, and the food is absolutely delicious, made with passion and love. The razor clams with parsley sauce were a delight, the breaded Saint-Marcellin cheese excellent, and the local veal chop superb. The cooking was perfectly executed, thank you chef! It's becoming rare to find such a good langoustine fricassee. The cheese plate was excellent, and, unusually, the cheeses were served at the perfect temperature – thank you chef! The salted caramel crème brûlée was also delicious, all accompanied by a quality white wine. This is an address well worth the detour. It's a pleasure to eat good, fresh food – truly a cuisine meant for sharing. We will be back! The quality and price are unbeatable, and the staff are always kind and welcoming. So don't hesitate, go without hesitation, you won't regret it!
