We received a very warm welcome and really enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the restaurant.
We were able to taste the famous Savoyard potence, a delight! The meat was tender and the show is worth the detour. It's true that it's a bit on the budget, and we wouldn't order it every day!
Next time we'll try the raclette, which looked just as incredible.
I recommend booking, because even if there's space, seats fill up quickly.

L'Escale Gourmande is without a doubt the best restaurant in the resort! We come here every winter and summer with our family. We are always warmly welcomed by the entire team. The menu is diverse and the dishes are very generous. We have a soft spot for the mixed potence and its gratin🤗.
It's always a real pleasure to come back.

A pleasant evening with friends and children. We chose traditional fondue, tartiflette, and burgers. We all enjoyed our dishes, with a small downside: the size of the tartiflette and fondue (small portions for an average eater) and the fries, which weren't homemade. That said, the fondue was delicious, I recommend it, and the Liège waffles are also very good!
The children had pasta carbonara from the children's menu (up to 8 years old, we found it a bit over the top... considering that no dessert is included).
On the other hand, the owner wasn't very friendly... the bill was left on the table barely cleared, and we paid immediately, even though we hadn't asked for anything. It's a shame, the rest of the staff is super friendly.

What a (re)discovery! We had a blast; it must be said that with a name like that, this restaurant truly lives up to its name.
