Passing through the beautiful little villages of Gers, we had lunch at L’Escale and loved it; the traditional dishes with a touch of originality were delicious, the freshness evident, and the service very friendly.
The cuisine is excellent, blending local southwestern flavors with, in some dishes, a unique Malagasy influence. The foie gras tarte tatin is a delight.
A very warm welcome, delicious dishes made with quality ingredients. Excellent wine from a local vineyard. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
