We had already been there several times when the restaurant offered a single menu, and we always really enjoyed it. This time, what a surprise to discover, only at the end of the meal—since they refuse to give you the contents of the tasting menu in advance if you ask—that it now only includes four courses instead of the six indicated on the website. Perhaps it's time to update the information? A tasting menu that seems less competitive than the classic menu, plus an additional starter in terms of price, and less the option to choose your own dishes. In short, a real disappointment, not because of the food, which is always excellent, but because of the lack of transparency, which leaves you with the unpleasant feeling of having been ripped off.

We came on a Monday evening with my sister. Very charming setting. Very good and beautifully presented dishes. We were just a little disappointed with the soft-boiled egg starter, which was very runny. We expected better service given the prices and the restaurant's prestige.

This is our first time here. We enjoy the dishes; they are well-prepared and made with seasonal ingredients. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the service. The waiter (seasonal worker, apprentice, trainee... I don't know) did his best to keep up, explaining the names of the dishes served, and was quite friendly despite his shyness. Unfortunately, the evening was somewhat spoiled by the "head waiter" who criticized and reprimanded him in front of us, and by his arrogance in front of the customers, saying, "I have to do everything!" Furthermore, he made several mistakes during service (which can happen and is acceptable when the waiter is friendly).

At L'Escargot 1903, everything is perfectly aligned: a beautiful setting, exquisite tableware, Yannick Tranchant's exceptional cuisine in every dish, excellent wine suggestions, and service with just the right amount of relaxed charm. That's why we keep coming back!

Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Suresnes. The dining room is cozy and inviting. The staff is attentive, offers good advice, and pays particular attention to ensuring your experience at L'Escargot is unforgettable. The dishes are excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable. Reservations are highly recommended!
