Overall I enjoyed myself. On the other hand, serving "mac do" type fries with duck breast in a 50 euro menu is very average and contradictory to what Mougins does to highlight the gastronomy of our city. I should have asked for the grade because I had doubts about the final grade. And bringing water or offering water at the start of the meal would have been nice.
We were late. Too late to make a reservation on a wonderful late summer evening in the always fairytale Mougins. But an attentive waiter saw us and promised us a table for two within 5 minutes. And he delivered!
He conjured up a table, two chairs and voila, the party could begin.
We started with two glasses of cava and ordered snails and salmon in advance with a bottle of fantastic Chassagne Montrachet. Not a wrong choice. As a main course, pasta lobster with truffle and a super sea bass. The side dishes were also to die for. We finished with tarte tartin and limoncello. A supper with a bow and a ribbon 🎖️ enjoyed it immensely. 🥂❣️ until next time 🥳
Mid August 24, Restaurant with friends, the dishes were good. The last star is missing since we had reserved at 9:15-30 p.m. and were seated at 10 p.m., too bad...
