The foie gras and beef mille-feuille… absolutely divine!

An excellent address.
We had a wonderful time there. The setting is friendly, calm, yet understated and refined. We appreciated the warm welcome and the staff's advice. The wines offered perfectly complemented each of our dishes. The cuisine is authentic, refined, and remarkably well executed: a feast for the eyes and taste buds!
High-end food at a very affordable price. The BEST.

We had a wonderful evening at L'Essentiel.
The meal was refined, expertly prepared, and delicious. Benoît, the sommelier, offered us some delightful discoveries.
All this in a warm and intimate atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A great time yesterday at lunchtime, everything was perfect: razor clams, parsley butter, scallops, turbot, etc., etc., and what can I say about the vanilla millefeuille to die for? A big thank you and congratulations to the super professional and very friendly sommelier.

I would like to congratulate Chef Nicolas and his team at L'Essentiel restaurant! I had a simply magical time. The pairing of food and wine was sublime and truly enriched the culinary experience. The cooking technique deployed is worthy of the finest French restaurants, brilliantly combining creativity and tradition. What particularly touched me was the shared passion for cooking, a quality that is increasingly rare to find today. It is without hesitation one of the best restaurants in Hauts-de-France that I have had the pleasure of discovering. A big thank you for this experience

A wonderful evening! Warm welcome, top-notch service, and everything on the plates is delicious!
A set menu is available, a blind menu, and also daily specials. The choice is yours! Delicious aperitif cocktails, and the wine selection is excellent.
A special mention for the madeleines!! A true delight, we'll be back!
