A very good restaurant, always a warm welcome. The amuse-bouche soup is a lovely touch. The menu is concise, fresh, and homemade... it's top-notch. Tonight, the rare rump steak was perfect, the potch was excellent, and the junior menu was very good. 👍

Absolutely impeccable! We discovered it quite by chance while passing nearby. It was full, but they kindly welcomed us at the beginning of service before the others arrived. The welcome was very warm, the setting perfect in a typical old farmhouse, and the value for money impeccable. And I'm quite picky about Welsh rarebit and fries, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! A lovely, typical local pub in a renovated farmhouse. The place is very pleasant, with beautiful decor. The service is efficient and friendly, the food is good, homemade, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the French toast-style brioche, which was absolutely delicious.

I really appreciate the chef's effort in making me a Welsh rarebit without ham if I order it at least 24 hours in advance—now that's customer service! I've been four times and I'll definitely go back. The people I've taken there have thoroughly enjoyed it and had a wonderful meal.
