L'Estancot sur Thones

A very friendly welcome, the daily menu and desserts were excellent. We stumbled upon it by chance after a visit to the Sica des Alpages farm where the cheeses are reasonably priced.

Only worker's meals during the week, what a shame.

Passing through on my way back from La Clusaz Simple and effective menu. A pleasant, informal atmosphere, like the brasseries of the past. All the waitresses were excellent. I wanted to thank them. Keep it up. Bravo!

Passing through Thônes for lunch on Saturday... very satisfied at L'Estancot where we really enjoyed the black pudding/chorizo ​​puff pastry and sirloin steak with lemon tart (excellent). Efficient service despite the room being full, and all with a smile... good value for money... Restaurant close to the city center but not easy to find... exterior signage perhaps too discreet... thanks to the team at this restaurant.

First experience, a Saturday lunchtime, completely satisfactory: no menu but no less than 5 suggestions on the slate, we tried 2, filet mignon in crust and calf's head: very good, generous and carefully presented! In addition, warm and efficient welcome and service! We will be back!
