Excellent welcome, great service, and all with a smile

We arrived at 1:45 pm. A little late by French standards, as we were the last to arrive, and they were already sweeping part of the dining room. Even so, the service was impeccable. For starters, there was a cold salad bar, but from what we could see, you could only serve yourself one plate. Or perhaps it was too late, and they cleared the bar right after we were served. For the main course, we had a single course: beef stew with macaroni. Then came a cheese board with four varieties, and we ate as much as we wanted. Finally, there was homemade dessert: several cakes to choose from and various yogurts. We ate very well and would definitely go back.

The decor is outdated, but who cares? The food is simple and good, and the staff are welcoming and smiling.

The welcome and service were efficient and professional. The setting is understated and pleasant… The room is spacious, inviting, and beautifully enhanced, particularly at the back, by superb large-format photographs of wolves. I also recommend this establishment for family gatherings or get-togethers with friends.

Passing through Thônes for the weekend, we had lunch at this restaurant. What a wonderful discovery! The main course and homemade dessert were superb, with wonderful flavors in everything from the salad dressing to the various sauces for the dishes: diots (sausages), tartiflette, porchetta, fish and chips... The service was impeccable. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity.
