l'ESTELLAN sur Lorgues

We decided to try one of the top-rated restaurants in Lorgues, as found on Google Maps, and chose this one hoping for a great experience. Naturally, our expectations were quite high… unfortunately, they fell short. The staff wasn't particularly welcoming or warm. Everything seemed rather impersonal, lacking genuine attention and sincerity in the welcome and service. The food was good, and the portions were decent for the price, but we didn't get the "wow" factor we were hoping for. The place is quiet, which is a plus, although we would have appreciated some soft, pleasant background music. We had also heard a lot about the beautiful view of the vineyards from the terrace. Unfortunately, that wasn't really the case. There are a few rows of vines, but not the magnificent view of a vast vineyard we had imagined. In the end, we left disappointed, as our expectations were unfortunately not met. We were hoping for a truly exceptional experience given the reviews and reputation of the restaurant.

Excellent meal with delicious, fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Impeccable service. Beautiful setting.

Absolutely delicious. Very attentive service; they adapted the dish to remove an ingredient, and even thought of a small candle for the birthday... The terrace, which can be enclosed, offers a view of the vineyard. Pleasant lighting.

While on holiday in the area, we came to try this restaurant on the recommendation of our hosts. We were delighted with our lunch, enjoyed in the veranda with a gentle, refreshing breeze. The dishes were beautifully prepared, with generous portions and perfect cooking. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was professional and courteous. From the appetizer to the dessert, each course was a culinary discovery. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A truly delightful evening in a warm and welcoming setting! Refined and exceptional cuisine, prepared with taste, passion, and love 😊 Impeccable service to fully appreciate dishes as beautiful as they are delicious! From start to finish, a true feast… A place to discover in the heart of Provence! Thank you to Caroline, the Chef, and the entire team ☺️

From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. Smiles, kindness, empathy. The food: impeccable presentation, delicious dishes. Bravo Caroline, Éric, and their kind colleague. Thank you. Marc and Ghis Mariani

A relaxing evening, the food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended.

A place where the chef clearly enjoys cooking, the service is incredibly attentive, and it shows... Exceptional dish with a complete menu for €39 (starter/main/dessert), outstanding value for money considering the quality of the ingredients and the warm welcome. Go without hesitation, but booking is always a good idea... @l'estellan thank you for this wonderful evening, don't change a thing, it's perfect.

The dishes are good, fresh and elaborate but there is too long a wait (45 minutes) between the aperitif and the starter to be served and it is rather noisy when the restaurant is full.

A very good place to enjoy fresh food.
