L'Estrade Bar Restaurant sur Saint-Etienne

We loved this establishment. For three consecutive days, we had breakfast there and one afternoon lunch. The welcome was very warm, and the servers were very pleasant and smiling. I highly recommend "Le Café de l'Est." We will gladly return on our next trip to Paris.

Meh! It only works because it's opposite the Gare de l'Est.

A very pleasant place and excellent service! I was greeted by Mr. Laroussi, who was very friendly. It was a pleasure!

Excellent brasserie, pleasant and warm welcome with very good food. Much better than the neighboring bouillon.

Nice place for a drink before catching the TGV. Accessible toilet upstairs.

A charming brasserie. The servers are very friendly. A warm welcome and quality cuisine at a reasonable price. Well done! Keep up the good work. (A customer passing through Paris)

We came back for the steak tartare, which I appreciated because it was prepared to our liking right at our table, and the fries were very good. We also tried the sauerkraut, which was even better than I had imagined. A successful evening and meal. Thank you to the chef and the waiter.

A pleasant cafe opposite the Train station. My wife and I stopped here for a meal which was perfectly adequate. The issue arose when it came to paying. A bill was presented for just over 50 Euros, I asked the waiter if this included service and he indicated that it did not and said "17.5%". i assumed he added this on and presented my card. It wasn't until later that I realized he added 15 Euros (30%) and service was actually included all along. I feel like I've been scammed. This was on the evening of 28th August at approx 8;30 pm. The bill was for 55.50 and was rounded up to 70 Euros by the waiter

Sunny terrace but with heavy car traffic. However, conversation is possible, we got along well! Smiling waiter and a nice touch, some salted popcorn offered as an aperitif.

Excellent brasserie right across from the Gare de l'Est train station. Despite being very busy, the service is always friendly. Good beers, good traditional dishes.
