L'etang Gourmand sur Bourgoin-Jallieu

Thank you to Nico and his team for the warm welcome, excellent service, and friendly manner. We were a large group, and everything was done to ensure we had a wonderful evening. Our guests were delighted. Thank you for accommodating our requests and for your flexibility :)

Hello, The service was average. There wasn't a wide selection of ice cream and sorbet flavors. And there was no option to order anything other than ice cream in the afternoon. The setting is very pretty and relaxing.

Fantastic team, very attentive. We were a group of 25 and it was absolutely perfect. The flexibility with the setup, the quality of the food—everything was truly excellent. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

A very pleasant place with its pond. The restaurant's decor.

The welcome and service were excellent in 2024, 2025, and early 2026. Since then, it's been a disaster. When you arrive around 7:15 or 7:30 pm for a drink, and maybe a bite to eat, depending on the staff's attitude, well, I can tell you, it's truly frightening. You can't even get a drink, and they make it perfectly clear that you're in the way. So, either another short walk around the pond or we head to Bourgoin-Jallieu to quench our thirst and satisfy our hunger. Since the change of management, it's been a catastrophe. I'm not the only one saying it, but I am writing it down. The truth isn't always easy to hear, but when it's said, it hurts even more. Best of luck to the new team, who I think deserve to be known. See you soon on a walk.

Very good restaurant, the pea soup was excellent! Friendly welcome!

Exceptional setting! Delicious dishes, including a wonderful pea soup. We were served by Lucy, who was incredibly attentive, gracious, and very professional—a true gem! We will definitely be back.

We had some ice cream in the afternoon, it was great!

We had a wonderful meal and received a very warm welcome. Thank you so much! Absolutely fantastic!

We went last night, the food was very good. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, and the portions were more than average for someone with a good appetite. I hope it will be better next time.
