A very pleasant visit to L’Étape bar in Novalaise in the mid-afternoon, just before closing time, around 3 pm. I simply stopped by for a coffee and was warmly welcomed by two charming ladies, one of whom was behind the counter, particularly smiling and friendly—the owner, I believe.
Even for a simple coffee break, the welcome and attention given to customers are truly delightful. A very positive first impression and a place that makes you want to return.
I will gladly come back soon for lunch and to discover L’Étape’s cuisine. A wonderful discovery awaits! ☕️✨
Delicious food and fantastic, friendly service. There are also some good vegetarian options on the menu. The desserts are homemade and absolutely delicious.

Salle bien décorée avec une superbe vue sur le lac.
Un menu du marché sympa avec des plats aux saveurs originales y compris pour les desserts.
Un service impeccable.
Un petit bémol pour le chauffage de la salle un peu trop juste pour ce 14 novembre.
Mais nous reviendrons cet été pour tester aussi les chambres…

The setting is absolutely beautiful as well as the view of the lake from our small private balcony in our room (12)
For a romantic weekend it's perfect
The staff is always professional and takes great care of you.
The rooms, renovated at the start of the year, are simply magnificent.
Cuisine always delights our taste buds.
The menus change regularly and allow us to experience other flavors.
Thanks again to all the room, kitchen and breakfast staff
I recommend without hesitation the “Novalaise beach”
