We arrived here after a good hike (and a tempting Google Maps look) And we weren't disappointed. A short but very effective menu. Magnificent wines by the glass. Local products. A very original setting where you feel right at home. And exceptional service. Polite, attentive, and full of good advice. A real delight. If you're in the area (or not), you must go to discover their amazing dishes, classic yet unique, and the sheer joy of life they evoke. This restaurant has only one major drawback…it's 500 kilometers from my home 🤪

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent experience from start to finish! The welcome was warm, the staff smiling and very attentive. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality, local ingredients and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef for her delicious cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is quick yet attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent meal in a friendly setting. I will definitely be back. Well done to the whole team!

Beautiful place, delicious food 😋

Seven years ago we had one of our favorite meals here, and it left such an impression that we made a detour on our drive from Champagne to the Loire Valley today just to come back. It was every bit as good as we remembered. The setting is fantastic, the food is simple but executed perfectly, and for around €20 you get a starter, main course and dessert. That’s incredible value these days. If the food wasn’t enough, the service was even better. Our host was genuinely welcoming and took the time to write down a whole list of recommendations for wineries, restaurants and bars for the rest of our trip. Places like this are rare. Highly recommended.

A perfect 5/5 for this wonderful discovery! Unbeatable value for money, the ingredients are fresh and impeccably sourced from local producers. The beef cheek was perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every dish was served with a little something extra that elevated it; we loved it! The service was also fantastic; the waiter was very attentive. It's a shame we're not from the area; we would gladly return often.

Lunch today, very warm welcome, excellent cuisine, beautiful wine list, unbeatable value for money, I recommend it between 2 Loire Valley castles.
