L'Heure de la Pause sur Metz

Food was fine, I ordered fish of the day, but ended up getting a flammkuchen salmon. Which is indeed fish, but if I wanted the flammkuchen salmon, I would have order it from the flammkuchen section and not the fish of the day. The flammkuchen was fine however. Also ordered a Creme brulee, which was really tasty. The lady serving was very nice and helpfull, had a little chat with her, she is great! Restaurant looks really cosy, just like visiting your grandparents. It also smelt like I was at my grandparents and they smoke inside. For some reason It smelled like cigarates inside.

I ate a fleischnaka which was super good. Very hearty and 100% Alsatian meal.

Very good sauerkraut and wine. Excellent desserts. Heartwarming welcome.

Pleasant and soothing place, the Alsatian atmosphere is there with the decorations themed to the seasons. Having come there several times with my mother and my husband, a superb welcome, friendly and pleasant staff, taking great care of the customers. The food is also excellent! A great discovery!
