Good for a quick bite. Fries, fish, a burger, etc. Not gourmet, but fine. Friendly service, served quickly. Great location in the middle of Avallon.

A small restaurant that could be nice if they'd let us enjoy our aperitif before bringing the food... we're on vacation! The waiter, a very energetic and pleasant young man, unfortunately had to contend with the manager's impatience. And yes! It was the manager who rushed to bring us our food.

Dinner on the terrace. Generous and tasty dishes. Efficient service despite the crowds. The terrace is on a slope, so seating is slightly less comfortable than on the flat terrace, which is why I'm giving it 4/5.

Everything was excellent from the appetizer to the dessert; you could taste the homemade quality, and the service was super friendly. Well done! There were three of us, and everyone loved it!

A very generous and well-filled Époisses burger, perfect for those with a hearty appetite, made with excellent local ingredients – my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I highly recommend it, especially after a few days of hiking in the Morvan region.

We were warmly welcomed for a good lunch. The staff attentively provided a suitable shaded spot for our family. The fries served were very tasty and not too salty. Service took a little longer than our toddler could handle in terms of energy, but that was made up for by the good food.
Because we have a number of (mild) allergies, it was important that we could communicate well with the staff. One of the employees spoke good English; we only had to mention the allergens once, and he knew exactly what we could and could not eat. If you have severe allergies to certain traces, I don't know if the kitchen can handle that; you need to discuss that carefully with them yourself.
A nice place to return to 😊
