Small, well-located restaurant.
Good food and pleasant service. The flank steak with shallots was delicious, as were the burgers.
Highly recommended.

While passing through Avallon on a tourist visit, we made a quick stop at the L'Horloge restaurant on a Friday at lunchtime.
Smiles, attentive service, no waiting, excellent customer care, and exquisite cuisine at a very reasonable price. We may not have the pleasure of returning, but it deserves the praise of a couple of customers who have very fond memories of it: Céline and Fabian.

I had dinner at L’Horloge restaurant in Avallon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The region is beautiful, and the setting is picturesque and pleasant.
At the restaurant, I found the staff to be young, friendly, and welcoming.
I tried kangaroo steak for the first time in my life, served rare—a real treat.
The meat is slightly sweeter than beef, though a little less tender, but truly excellent.
A wonderful discovery, both for the location and the cuisine.

Busy little restaurant. We ordered 6 snails per person in advance, but received and paid for 12 each. They were delicious, though. The bavette as a main course was hard work; blunt knives and lots of tendons. We were given a bowl of water for the dog.

From the outside, the restaurant isn't particularly appealing, but it's a very pleasant surprise inside. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The meal was hearty, homemade, and delicious; we were all delighted. We highly recommend it.

We didn't try the food, but we had a drink in the afternoon. The welcome was fantastic; there were 10 of us. They went out of their way to make us happy. Very good.
