A delightful culinary discovery. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and appreciated this moment of respite and refreshment after a long, incredibly hot day. Special mention for the watermelon gazpacho: pure comfort.

What a gem! Had a delicious lunch on a cozy, quiet terrace where smoking is NOT allowed. What a breath of fresh air in France!! Tasty, fresh dishes and also some vegetarian options; that is not a given here either. Super service, extensive tea menu. Highly recommended if you are in Avallon!

What a delightful discovery this tea room with its charming shaded garden is! You first enter through a corridor, as if you were stepping into the home of the kindly old lady Jeanne. Inside, you find a room with a beautiful antique fireplace, lovely vintage tableware, attentive and welcoming staff, refined cuisine, and delicious teas and pastries. We returned twice during our short trip and will definitely come back whenever we're in the area. Whether inside or in the garden, it's a truly magical experience.

On this warm evening, we enjoyed an excellent meal with incredibly friendly servers, and to top it all off, the outdoor seating was very pleasant. We'll definitely be back. Well done to everyone!

A superb experience. The interior terrace is very intimate and the staff are incredibly friendly. The menu doesn't offer an extensive selection of dishes, but the quality is definitely there. Give it a try; you won't regret it.

17/06/2026: A very generous and well-filled Époisses burger, perfect for those with a hearty appetite, made with excellent local ingredients – my mouth is watering just thinking about it! I highly recommend it, especially after a few days of hiking in the Morvan region.
17/06/2026: We were warmly welcomed for a good lunch. The staff attentively provided a suitable shaded spot for our family. The fries served were very tasty and not too salty. Service took a little longer than our toddler could handle in terms of energy, but that was made up for by the good food. Because we have a number of (mild) allergies, it was important that we could communicate well with the staff. One of the employees spoke good English; we only had to mention the allergens once, and he knew exactly what we could and could not eat. If you have severe allergies to certain traces, I don't know if the kitchen can handle that; you need to discuss that carefully with them yourself. A nice place to return to 😊

29/04/2026: Great country restaurant. The dishes are very well prepared, balanced, and full of delicious ingredients. The menu isn't suitable for a big eater. But for a leisurely lunch, it's perfect.
