Good restaurant. Would go back.

Had a lovely meal this evening. The food was fantastic. Was lovely to talk with the chef too. The owner was extremely welcoming. Thank you. Definitely recommend the restaurant. Didn’t stay at the hotel but I hear it’s just a great.

Excellent stay in this magnificent place, a discreet and attentive team, the dinner was excellent, cooked by someone passionate about their work and generous with customers (thank you Romain!) I highly recommend it!

Establishment closed for holidays. Good evening, a little politeness wouldn't hurt. I made a mistake; I rated the setting, the park. Not your restaurant or your hotel. Too bad. Please don't see this as an attack; others have done that. However, you could have looked into why I rated something I don't know. I will be more vigilant. Perhaps in exchange for a little tolerance. A very beautiful medieval hotel with a stunning facade and a magnificent location in the castle courtyard. Unfortunately, the service is just like the castle itself: medieval! The service is minimalist... you even have to ask for toilet paper. But the worst part is the price of breakfast, which is clearly exorbitant: no choice (croissants for five days straight and nothing else), supermarket tea from E. Leclerc (I have better at home), no fruit, etc. The tablecloths aren't changed after you leave, and the next day you find the crumbs from the previous day's breakfast. To be thorough, the rooms are dated, as is the bathroom, but the bedding is comfortable and the hotel is quiet. In short, this hotel isn't something to avoid as I've read, but I advise against staying more than one night or having breakfast there. And as for the restaurant, I don't recommend it if you enjoy good food. It's not great, and the service is extremely slow even when it's not busy. And finally, I agree with the comments from other dissatisfied customers, but not with the hotel manager's responses, which are clearly disingenuous. It's a shame because there's real potential. The manager should take the feedback into account instead of accusing dissatisfied customers of lying. Personally, I wouldn't have spent so much time writing this review if all of this weren't true.

Pleasant atmosphere, you feel comfortable. Rooms are okay, bathroom is a bit dated, toilet is tiny. Breakfast is okay, but there were service problems: the coffee machine took a while to work, and the egg water was cold.

A large, beautifully decorated dining room, tastefully and respectfully showcasing the building's historical character. A delicious, refined lunch. A varied and original menu, with affordable wines. A relaxing atmosphere with a view of the courtyard and the castle fortifications. An excellent address and superb cuisine. It's nothing like the restaurant I knew a few years ago. Everything has completely changed, for the better.

Hello everyone, We spent a weekend at this hotel (Château). For those who appreciate castles and their authentic charm, this is the place for you. When you enter the grounds through one of the carriage gates, you're immediately immersed in the atmosphere. Then you enter the hotel through a reception area that has retained its original character, a period staircase, and the magnificent armory, which also serves as a restaurant. The rooms are equally stunning. If you want to travel back in time, this is the place to be. As I've already mentioned, read about the history of the château and you'll discover a whole chapter of Normandy's history. Regarding the welcome, it was impeccable; the staff were always smiling and friendly. The restaurant was good, as was the breakfast. Finally, if you're looking for a hotel like the many you see along highways, Château de Bricquebec isn't the place for you. However, if you appreciate authenticity, history, kindness, and the good life...you are most welcome.
