Located alongside the canal du midi, this is run by a hard-working Anglo Irish couple .
Well run , very good food and choices .It's probably best to book at busy times .
There were eight of us, and we enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere and spent a long evening there .
Staff are attentive and clearly passionate about the business . Backed up by knowledgable skilled kitchen staff .
The Irish lady is a hard working character who definitely has Irish characteristics .
I would revisit if I am in the area again .
This duck breast is delicious accompanied by sweet potatoes, with a super friendly atmosphere on this last day of September. 2nd visit and I will return.
Restaurant on the banks of the Canal du Midi. A large shaded terrace. An excellent meal with grilled cuttlefish, homemade fries and a salad (€24). Aperitif, main course, wine and coffee: €35. Attentive and warm staff. A particularly pleasant place.
Quick note for those heading to the restaurant. It’s closed right now at least for a week (even though Google says it’s open). So please call and if they don’t pick up or say otherwise it’s probably still closed.
Good pitstop for lunch, book in advance. Friendly English speaking owners. Good food and lovely setting. €54 for two - two salads and one main course plus a drink and coffee/tea each.
