L'ile Sous le Vent sur Sainte-Marie-De-Re

15/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, we shared a small starter for two which was very generous, the fish was delicious with its cabbage and samphire – a real treat! Friendly staff and a quiet restaurant.

01/01/2026: Everything was perfect! To begin with, we arrived at a very busy restaurant, and since we have a large dog, the owner kindly allowed us to bring her in. That was a real plus right from the start. Then we ordered the daily special: pork cheek, smoked sausage, new potatoes, and wild fish with sauerkraut. Both were delicious; it's such a pleasure to eat excellent home-style cooking. We were then treated to delicious desserts: chocolate mousse with crumble and a Mont Blanc-style dessert—yum, yum, the homemade financiers! The waiter was lovely. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend!
