Very nice neighborhood party with good food and great entertainment on Place Saint Charles

I had booked without knowing that L’Impertinent had a Michelin star. What a wonderful surprise to discover this cuisine without any preconceived notions! Each dish is perfectly constructed, technically masterful, and bursting with flavor, without ever becoming showy or excessive. You can sense a real direction, a clear intention from the chef who guides you exactly where he wants you to go, with great coherence throughout the entire menu. As frequent patrons of Michelin-starred restaurants, we believe this establishment richly deserves a second star. A huge thank you to the entire team for this remarkable experience.

Dear Feldmann family. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Your restaurant is truly an insider tip in Biarritz for authentic Michelin-starred cuisine. The food was a dream, especially with the chef's wine pairing. Your excellent service made a genuine effort to ensure a wonderful evening for us. A few minor remarks. The floor in the restaurant is in desperate need of renovation and doesn't match the rest of the otherwise wonderful ambiance. The cutlery has also seen better days. Otherwise, please keep up the good work!!! We'd love to come back.

This is a PRE-review! I made a reservation at L'Impertinent several weeks ago for my wife's upcoming birthday and our 25th anniversary trip to Biarritz and San Sebastian. I just received a call from the manager to warn me that the restaurant will be holding a special neighborhood party the night of our booking. I think he expected me to be disappointed and cancel. I told him I was even MORE excited now! He ran down the chef's menu that will be served (instead of the gastronomic menu otherwise offered) which sounded fantastic but included a pork dish as the main. When I told him my wife is a pescatarian he said the chef would prepare a fish dish for her. I haven't even eaten here yet and I'm already thoroughly impressed with the service and consideration. I'm looking forward to our being guests at L'Impertinent. Merci beaucoup, L'Impertinent!
