L'Imprevu sur Toucy

An empty restaurant while all the others were full. Surreal service. Dishes that looked better than they tasted. Bizarre.

The young women were very welcoming and provided excellent service. The presentation was creative. The black pudding tartlet with caramelized shallots and apples was as beautiful as it was delicious. The duck breast with parsnip purée and clementines was a delight. The hazelnut and mango éclair was light and not too sweet. A lovely, indulgent moment on the sunny terrace.

One of my favorite restaurants in Toucy! The welcome is always warm and every time, the food is delicious. A sure thing, never a disappointment

Stopped by this Wednesday at lunchtime: Friendly welcome! I had the set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and I have absolutely no complaints; I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Thank you!

Fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent, entirely homemade with high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference! The desserts, made by a local baker and pastry chef, are a real treat. Great atmosphere and excellent service. We're from the area but live in Toulon. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Passing through, I stopped at the restaurant L'Imprévu for just a coffee before continuing my journey. The welcome was so warm that I chatted with the owners for about 30 minutes. Since they only had returnable water bottles, the young woman asked her colleague to go down to the cellar just to see if they had a plastic (non-returnable) bottle... A few minutes later, she returned with a large bottle of mineral water (I know plenty of shopkeepers who don't bother to be picky; you take what they have on hand or nothing). My review doesn't mention the food, which is understandable since it was 3:00 PM, but the coffee was excellent (a true ristretto). I wouldn't hesitate to stop again if I'm ever back in Toucy, this time to eat. Thank you again for your kindness.

Very nice surprise, we didn't know it but we were not disappointed, very very good and the welcome was warm.

Exquisite, nothing to complain about, everything was excellent, fast service and attentive staff.

While out for a stroll We stopped for lunch and weren't disappointed at all. Everything was excellent and homemade. Friendly welcome and impeccable service from two very cheerful young ladies.

A very nice experience at this restaurant. The sweetbreads are wonderful, as are the starters and desserts. I will be back...
