Good food with quality meats. The side dishes with the fish weren't very well chosen (salmon steak with gnocchi!). The weak point was the service; the starter arrived before the aperitif. Dishes for the same table weren't served at the same time. All the waitresses were busy with all the tables, so there were mistakes, waits, etc. Perhaps we just caught them on an off day! A shame.
The meal was enjoyable, but there were many shortcomings in the service. The waitress and waiter were not welcoming at all, and the service was far too slow – 2 hours and 20 minutes for the starter, main course, and dessert, not to mention the dishes that were forgotten. It's definitely changed; I wouldn't recommend it at all. What a shame!
This restaurant has proven itself; it was recommended to me twice during my visit to Agen. I appreciated the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. I was able to treat someone by going there, and I left just as satisfied. The menu offers good quality ingredients and a difficult dessert selection. The only downside is that the servers seem overwhelmed, as the restaurant is unfortunately a victim of its own success.
I highly recommend it for a treat and for finding quality products.
