Dining at the bistro A very noticeable distinction between bistro patrons and those in the fine dining area. Tasty food but prices a bit high. Dining in the enclosed courtyard is pleasant but a little noisy. Excellent pâté en croûte. Still or sparkling water is complimentary!

A very good gourmet restaurant with reasonable value for money for a Michelin-starred establishment. The waitstaff were responsive when I asked for faster service due to time constraints. I will return.

Highly recommended, excellent, top-notch staff. The MOF chef, I completely agree. Book in advance, because like all quality places, it fills up quickly.

As regulars at Michelin-starred restaurants, we were very pleasantly surprised. A truly excellent Michelin-starred establishment. Impeccable service and welcome. Beautifully presented dishes. Perfectly cooked. And to top it all off, a very pleasant setting.

The restaurant is truly worth a visit. We dined inside, where it was pleasantly air-conditioned, while the bistro-style menu was served in the garden under enormous plane trees. Our multi-day meal was a delight.

Overall, an excellent gourmet restaurant with impeccable service from competent and pleasant staff. However, there was one small issue: the duck was replaced with beef, and the sauce reduction was a bit overcooked for our taste. We will certainly return on a future occasion.

In a lovely village and a great place for lunch if you are having a mid morning wine tasting in the surrounding vineyards. Reservations are a must and be prepared for lunch to last 2 1/2 hours. The food was fantastic and as expected an extensive wine list. We had a reservation and I will say that the only complaint was we were led into a courtyard to wait on our table where drinks were offered. Service in the courtyard was achingly slow and french speakers appeared to get preference for service and seating. Overall still a very positive experience.

We came to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday with the six-course menu. Lunch had started off very promisingly, but the overall experience proved very disappointing. The starters: The first two starters were a true explosion of flavors, delivering exactly the emotion and magic one expects from a fine dining experience. A perfect start. The service and wines: A big thank you to the sommelier for choosing the Saint-Véran La Bonnode from La Soufrandière, a superb bottle. However, its lovely mineral tension accentuated the already pervasive acidity of the dishes instead of softening it. As for the red wine by the glass (a 2024 Crozes-Hermitage), it was far too young, with astringent tannins. In the dining room, the constant parade of different staff disrupted the flow and demonstrated a complete lack of personalization, particularly noticeable during the candlelit dessert. The overall balance: A very pronounced acidity pervaded almost every subsequent course. Combined with the crispness of the white wine, it ultimately overwhelmed the palate and masked the other flavors. The main courses: The fish (yellowtail with tomato) was the least refined of the meal, lacking depth of flavor despite a nice texture. As for the dry-aged meat served as a replacement, it was unremarkable and lacked tenderness. The cheese: Disappointing. Offering an ultra-processed sweet and savory combination instead of showcasing the raw quality of fine local products seemed superfluous. The dessert: By deconstructing the classics, the dish lost the essence of a truly indulgent dessert. For a chocolate-cherry creation, the absence of dark chocolate and the overabundance of cherry unbalanced the final touch. The portions: Very small quantities, lacking generosity. In short, the initial excitement was certainly there thanks to the first two courses. However, the repetition of acidic notes (accentuated by the white wine's profile), the lack of refinement in the hot dishes, a red wine by the glass that was too young, and the completely impersonal service during the birthday dessert ultimately proved too much. Very disappointing for such an important event.

A wonderful discovery for our second wedding anniversary! Everything was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, with elegant presentation and top-quality ingredients. The food and wine pairings were perfectly executed, and the wines offered were excellent. The service also deserves special mention: the entire team is very attentive, professional, and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The setting is magnificent and invites you to fully savor the moment. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation. We will definitely be back!

We had dinner at the bistro. It was very busy and there is a big outdoor area. Excellent local wines.
