l'O des Vignes sur Fuisse

A truly exceptional gastronomic experience, where every detail matters! We chose the fine dining experience at L’O des Vignes, and what a wonderful discovery it was! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the restaurant's warm atmosphere, which invites you to take the time to savor every moment. We opted for the eight-course menu, a succession of delicious, refined, and perfectly executed culinary discoveries. But I must give special mention to the chef for the first course: a combination of anchovies and beets. Two ingredients I don't usually enjoy at all, yet the chef managed to make me love them! In my opinion, this is where the true talent of a great chef lies: knowing how to challenge preconceptions and introduce new flavors, even to the most reluctant palates. A huge congratulations for this feat! What also distinguishes this establishment is its absolutely remarkable attention to detail. From the chef's own hand-designed knife to the sourdough starters used for the house-made bread, everything testifies to a genuine passion for culinary art and a quest for consistency down to the smallest detail. During our meal, we also admired a magnificent wine and spirits cellar, including bottles of Chartreuse, which further enhances the character and elegance of the establishment. L’O des Vignes doesn't just serve food: the restaurant tells a story through its cuisine, its ingredients, and its expertise. It's a place where technique serves emotion, and where you leave with much more than just the memory of a good meal. Congratulations to the chef and the entire team for this superb gastronomic experience. A magnificent discovery!! The restaurant L'O des vignes, bravo to the Chef and his team. Each dish was a work of art, both for the eyes and the taste buds. The ingredients are sublime, prepared with immense precision; the foie gras was exceptional. You can feel the passion, from the plate to the glass of wine. All that's missing is some beautiful background music and it's perfect.

We came for lunch. The €25 set menu is very affordable. The main course was excellent; the meat was high quality and flavorful. The only slight disappointment was the dessert, which was described as exceptional but was rather underwhelming. Was it homemade? Hard to say.

We had lunch as a group of four in the outdoor restaurant area. The setting was pleasant, but the service was abysmal, and my dish wasn't good. We spent two hours there due to the extremely slow service. I should mention that this is the first time I've had such a bad experience; previous visits had been fine.

A very successful lunch at the Bistrot. An exceptional pâté en croûte, very much in the "pastry chef" style! Perfectly executed eggs mayonnaise and a remarkable aged rib of beef. All enjoyed under a magnificent plane tree with well-chosen wines. However, I do have two comments: a vinaigrette that was a bit too sweet and questionable, and a mixture of overcooked potatoes and vegetables that was uninteresting.

Dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant superb wine list

After a 600km drive, we decided to eat here based on several positive reviews. The bistro itself was excellent, the meat was great, and the service was good. However, the desserts were disappointing, especially the crumble, which was half watery and tasted like it had been frozen. But the worst part, which completely ruined our experience, was the constant bird droppings all over the terrace! Four droppings on us during our meal! And on our neighbors at the next table too… Perhaps they should invest in a system in the trees for the comfort of their customers…
