So far my favourite restaurant in the region! The quality of the food is top class and the portions are generous. It’s not only seafood, they have rognon, lamb, chicken depending on the season. The best ris de veau we have tasted, and generous portions of langoustines. Even the deserts are all amazing - home made, light and not too sweet.

A delightful experience in a very comfortable, retro setting. If you're looking for a place for a classic yet perfectly executed dinner, L’Océanide is a sure bet. I was a little worried about the noise from the tram that runs right next door, but the restaurant is remarkably well soundproofed and the atmosphere remains very peaceful. The cuisine here is excellent bistro fare: precise, generous, without the stylistic flourishes or modern fusion that you see everywhere. Everything here hinges on the quality of the ingredients and the precision of the cooking, and it's truly refreshing. A place well worth a visit and a return trip.

A wonderful experience, exceptional cuisine with excellent value for money. Plenty of space between the tables, pleasant background music, and a simple, minimalist, and chic decor. A truly lovely place. We had lunch for Valentine's Day today, arriving at noon, and the welcome was genuine, professional, and warm. They always paid attention to our needs, even when the service was running smoothly. Well done and thank you to the whole team; we will be back. I highly recommend it.

This gourmet restaurant offers high-quality products, impeccable service, and reasonable prices. It's no wonder, then, that it has a number of regulars. And above all, the manager demonstrated great professionalism by spontaneously and confidently offering a solution to a Wonderbox issue (which ultimately turned out to be our fault). A place to recommend without hesitation, and a wonderful experience to repeat, if only to try the seafood platter.

We came with a meal voucher. Excellent meal with great attention to detail in the pairings, both fish and meat. And the little pastries with coffee...delicious! We'll be back, but this time we'll order in person to enjoy the full menu. A wonderful surprise!

L'Océanide, with its market menu, offers unbeatable value for money in Nantes. Roasted Scallops Gurnard Fillet Dessert Delicious and reasonably priced, I recommend it.

18/04/2026: A very good, well-prepared lunch. A brasserie-style menu with an original set menu, "Le Bouillon," at €19. Friendly welcome and service. Large bay windows overlooking the Erdre river or outdoor seating. A place worth discovering.

05/12/2025: Excellent value for money with delicious and indulgent chocolate options. Special mention for the friendly and welcoming service. I recommend it even for those who aren't chocolate lovers!
28/09/2025: A big thank you to Yvan! We had a wonderful time during a two-hour discovery workshop on the history of chocolate and its production. The owner is both passionate and fascinating, and his chocolate is simply incredible. Not only did we taste and make our own chocolate bar, but we also enjoyed learning about the history of chocolate and the secrets of its processing.
