A wonderful birthday present! Every year for my birthday, my husband and I decide to go to a restaurant that's a bit different from our usual fare, and this year we chose L'Odas and its seven-course tasting menu.
For a first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, the hallmarks of finesse and refinement were evident. From the servers' gestures to the presentation of the dishes, everything was meticulously orchestrated—quite impressive for us, uninitiated in the world of French gastronomy, but it was all part of the experience.
The atmosphere was warm, the dishes were seasonal and perfectly aligned with the chef's vision, and the selection of courses was exquisite, delicate, and bursting with flavor. The choice of ingredients, textures, and presentations were truly daring. I found it very interesting and would love to have more detailed written descriptions of this type of menu.
Indeed, regarding the evening's program, there were many explanations about the products, and personally, I found the subject very interesting. It's clearly not part of the proper etiquette, but I think the concept would be worthwhile.
Another point – I chose the wine pairing option with an excellent Chardonnay and a delicious wine from Maison Brana. Being more of a beer drinker than a wine drinker, I also tasted my husband's beer, the Ambree from Madamm de Bourgogne, and it was absolutely wonderful. Offering food and beer pairings could be fantastic, and it would be incredibly interesting, innovative, and in keeping with the times to offer this type of option, which would further enhance Suzanne Waymel's cuisine, even though it's already incredible as it is.
A big thank you to the entire team for the wonderful experiences you've created for us, and please continue to keep these moments alive for as long as possible.

A superb experience from start to finish.
We chose the seven-course tasting menu, and each dish was excellent, with perfectly balanced and expertly executed flavors. It's hard to say which dish stood out the most, as everything was so well done.
We were seated at a table with a direct view of the kitchen. We had a front-row seat to observe the well-oiled machine that was clearly in operation!
A huge congratulations to the entire team at L’Odas. A truly wonderful evening, and a restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely return to.
