Good little French restaurant outside the city center that only had local French guests when we were there. Good food, quick service and nice place for a lunch.

Great location, excellent value for money... The food was absolutely delicious... The receptionist was cold and unfriendly, but the rest of the staff were young, smiling, and really pleasant! I wish the trainee who served us throughout the meal all the best! And kudos to the chef!

Unfortunately this was a disappointing experience after having read reviews and been recommended by a local we booked a table. The food was through and through mediocre. Sweet that they were letting the young boy practice his waiting skills but he still has some learning to do so unfortunately that did not make up for the food either.

Great sauces for the meat, good fries and salad. The meat itself was unfortunately overcooked and a bit tough. The espresso wasn't good.

I visited this restaurant with my family for dinner. It was quite busy, which raised our expectations, but unfortunately the food was only average. I ordered an entrecôte cooked medium. While the steak itself was prepared well, the sides were disappointing. The fries were soggy, and the béarnaise sauce did not live up to expectations. Overall, the dish lacked the quality I was hoping for. This place was recommended to me, but it’s not somewhere I would personally recommend to others. Overall, an okay experience, but nothing special.

I ordered the duck breast from the set menu for 18 euros, which on the plate was only half a breast. The side dish was dauphinoise potatoes, nicely presented, certainly, but the portion size was about the size of one medium-sized potato. For dessert, I had the waffle with apples flambéed with Calvados. The waffle was possibly not homemade, or at least not freshly prepared; it was a bit dry in the center. As for the Calvados, I looked for it. Firstly, I didn't see anything being flambéed in front of me, except for the crème brûlée of my companion, and secondly, the Calvados flavor was completely absent. Disappointing.

We’d arrived 10 min late for our reservation but no issues, service very friendly and very fast — yes maybe because it was low season! Started with the soup! Super creamy veloute, deliciously tasty! Bread on the side, a total home cooking vibe! As main, the Fillet mignon of pork, which was soft and tender and a sauce that was dreamy! Came with dauphinois potatoes and a veggie that looked like a mini lettuce gem but of lighter colour We also needed the WiFi and they shared, which was nice! It’s nearly Easter and the lady who tended to us built a very decorative Easter scene on a large table at the centre We arrived, ate, and in 1h without hurry, were leaving after having had a pleasant delicious dinner! As a huge fan of steak tartare, I'd like to dethrone Chez Max in Magenta. For me, in the Épernay area, the crown goes to L'Oeil de Boeuf, where the meat is so perfectly hand-cut and seasoned. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is cozy. In short, a very good place to eat.
